distribution of honours Tlio award of the Redpath Cup this vcar to H. G. Vivian, the Auckland an ,l New Zealand representative cricketer, marks the fourth occasion on which the trophy has been held hy an Aucklander since the inception of the competition in the 1920-21 season. The previous Auckland holders were A. 11. Anthony, C, F. W. Allcott and G. L Weir. C. S.' Dempster has won the trophy on four occasions, while J. S. Hiddleston and J?. C.
