TERRITORIAL FORCES
TAURANGA ASSOCIATION [from OUR OWN correspondent] TAURANGA. Tuesday The Mayor, Mr. A. F. Tunks, presided at the annual meeting of the Taiiranga branch of tho Territorial Forres Association last night. The report stated that the membership had been well maintained and stood at 110. The county council, borough council and harbour board had accorded financial support. The principal activities of the branch consisted in helping toward the amenities of the camp of the Hanraki Regiment, which was held at Tauranga, and the holding of tho annual ball. The branch contributed toward the expenses of enabling territorials .from Tauranga and surrounding districts to attend the King's Birthday review at Auckland. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit balance of £ls. The following officers were elected: —President, Tho Mayor, Mr.' A. F. Tunks; vice-presidents, Lieutenant L. U. Wilkinson, Major V. J. Sea titlebury; honorary secretary and treasurer, Captain Eraser Baddeley; committee, the officers and LieutenantColonel G. Sanders, Major A. J. Mirrielo.es and Messrs. W. F. Sinclair, M. W. Watt and P. G. Mcintosh, with power to add.
