EXPLORING PARTY
:— KENYA AND. UGANDA DEPARTURE FROM LONDON (Received September 30, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 29 Mr. F. W. Edwards, entomologist, and Dr. Taylor, botanist, of the Natural History Museum, Kensington, are the leaders of an expedition which left London yesterday for an exploration of the mountainous districts in Kenya and Uganda. The party will make a close study of the fauna and flora. It is expected that the investigations will result in the collection of some strange insects and plants. The East African Governments are supporting the exploration work, part of which will be conducted on a mountain 12,000 feet high in temperatures well below freezing point.
