REPORTED RESIGNATION CARR AN.O NOTTINGHAM LONDON, Sept. 5!8 A. W. Carr, Notts and former England cricket captain, is reported to have resigned his captaincy of the county team. A member of the committee stated today that the resignation arose from matters which occurred several weeks ago, but he could not explain what they were.
