ALLEGED MURDER
CAIRO FLAT TRAGEDY TENNIS PLAYER CHARGED (Received September 30, 5.5 p.m ; ) Times Cable, LONDON, Sept. 29 The Cairo correspondent of the Times reports that society circles there have been shocked by the arrest of Lufty Wahid and Ahmed Shukri, popular Egyptian Davis Cup tennis plaj'ers, in connection with the murder of Maurice Tawil, an Algerian bank official. Tawil was found shot on the stairs at his flat. The incident is alleged to have been the sequel to a quarrel about Madame Wahid, who recently was separated from her husband. It is reported that the revolver which is believed to have been used for the murdeir was found in Tawil s flat. Subsequently Shukri was released, but Wahid was detained on a charge of murder.
