COMMUNITY SINGING
DEVONPORT INNOVATION An entertainment unique so far as Devonport is. concerned, was given last evening in ihe "V ictoria Theatre, Devonport, by the supporters of the Holy Name candidate, Miss Dorothy Perkins, in the popular girl contests The function took the form of a community sing, the song leader being Mr. Matt. Guthrie, and the soloists Miss Nance O'Connor and Mir. T. Maguire. The accompanist was Mrs. Barrington Snow. All Souls' Church choir, under the baton of M!:r. Maguire, led the singing of "Oh, Silent Night."
