NORTH SHORE TEAM WINS MAUNGAKIEKIE DEFEATED The fifth round A grade matoh in the pennant golf competition was played at North Shore during the weekend between members of tho North Shore and Maungakiekie Clubs, tho former winning by 8 games to 7. Each club won five singles, North Shore winning threo of the five foursomes and Maungakiekie two. Results are as follows, North Shore players being mentioned first: —■ Singles.—A. E. Browne beat R. Nelson beat W. H. D'Audn<iy; 3 and 1; J. A. Penman beat H. Morpeth, 6 and 6; B. E. Goldwater lost to W. Calderwood, 2 and 1; W. Oliver lost to D. G. McFarlane, 5 and 3; L. Harrison lost to D.
