The trophy was won by R. Jennings, with the score of 99. 3—102. Other good scores were:—A. D. Jack, 98. 2-100; E. A. Hikgins. 96. 8—99; W. Norris. 98. scr-98: H. F Buckley. 96, 2-98; K. Clnrk. 96. 2—98: L." Holmes. 95. 3-98; H. W. Davies, 92, 5—97; J. Courtney. 95. 1-96; M. K. Slewart, 95. scr—9s. , The A grade Buckley Rooster was stained by J. PAEROA, Wednesday The weekly shoot of the Paeroa Defence Rifle Club was held last evening, when there was a good attendance. The leading scores were:—F. C. Hubbard. 98, handicap 2. total, 100; I. Vause,, 95. 5—100; G. L. Inwood, 06. 3—99: A. E. Pearson, 95, 2—97; V. J. Sherson, 93, 2-95; R. Adams, 91. 4-9o; H. H. Folks, 91. 3—94; W. Forrest 84, 10—94; H. A. Morrison, 91. 2—93. Shootoff: F. C Hubbard, 94. 2-96; I. Vause. 88. 6—94 It was decided to extend the season from September 30 to the end of October.
