AUSTRALIAN ORANGES
WASTE IN A SHIPMENT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] INVERCARGILL, 'Wednesday It is reported that the shipment of South Australian oranges which reached Invercargill earlier in the week suffered greater loss by waste than anticipated. In many instances the loss exceeded the 10 per cent allowed for, while in odd cases more than half the fruit was affected/In the circumstances the record shipment, which is the last of the season, has been reduced to one of just average proportions. It is understood that the shippers' loss will be a heavy one.
