Sept. 20 In the Pacific South-West lawn tennis championships to-day the men's singles resulted as/follows: —Van Ryn defeated Kirby, 6—l, 6 —2; Perry defeated Hines, 6—4, 6—2. In the men's doubles Lott and Stoefen defeated Riggs and Bartosh, 6 —4, 6 —B, 7—5; Shields and Muelheisen defeated Menzel and Kirby, 6 —3, 11 —9.
