LONDON. Sept. 20 A mating of the Marylebone Cricket Club Tias held at Lord's to-day to discuss t"ui' leg-theory controversy. The manag ti and treasurer of the Australian ttam, Messrs. H. Bushby and W. C. Bull, attended. Extraordinary precautions were taken to ensure secrecy. Eventually Mr. R. f Aird, the assistant secretary of the M.C.C., made a statement that the meeting discussed cricket matters generally. The Daily Express understands that the possibility of some new system of marking pitches, making part of the wicket a forbidden area for bowlers* was discussed without a decision being reached.
