£1,000,000 LOAN ISSUE SPEEDY OVER-SUBSCRIPTION (Received September 21. 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 20 The lists of applications in connection with the issue by the City of Plymouth of £1,000,000 worth of corporation 3 per cent stock redeemable in 1954, at 97 i, for the repayment of short-term mortgage loans, were opened to-day. They were closed five minutes later, the issue being over-subscribed.
