CAR FALLS DOWN BANK
MINOR INJURY TO DRIVER [by telegraph OWN correspondent] TAUMARUNUI. Friday While returning from Ohura to his home at Ongarue this afternoon Mr. James Caird, chairman of the Ohura County Council, met with' an accident at a bend in the road between Matiere and Ongarue, his car going over a bank and falling 12ft. Mr. Caird managed to clamber up the bank and was picked up by Mr. J. H. Delves, who was travelling behind, and who took Mr. Caird home. Mr. Caird suffered a painful injury to the knee and shock.
