AUCKLAND CLUB'S SEASON The report and balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Club showed that the past season had been very satisfactory. The following officers were elected:—President. Mr. W. E. Holdgate; vice-presidents, Messrs. Ernest Davis. R. 8. Burt, A. R. Hosking. A. Coppard; honorary secretary, Mr. J. A. Fernandez; honorary treasurer, Mr. A. Biggs; ground superintendent. Mr. <T. A. Fernandez; delegates to the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs. R. A. Coyne, J. A Fernandez; committee. Messrs. R. S. Burt, A. R. Hosking, Simmonds. R A. Coyne, L. Whittaker; honorary auditor. Mr. H W. Curtis; Indies' committee. Misses Whittaker. McLennan, O'Meara, James, Barthgate, Mrs. Biggs. The trophies won during the season were presented, the championship winners being:—Men's singles, L. Whittaker; ladies singles, Miss D. Wickes; men's doubles R. 8 Burt, L. Whittaker; ledies' doubles, Mrs. Biggs, Miss James; mixed doubles. Miss Coleman, H. W. Curtis.
