BOARD OF CONTROL
AUSTRALIAN CRICKET NO TEAM FOR NEW ZEALAND (Received September 20, 9.15 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Sept. 20 At the annual meeting of the Australian Cricket Board of Control today Mr. R. A. Oxlade was re-elected chairman and Mr. W. C. Bull treasurer. Dr. Ramsay Mailer anounced his retirement from the board after 21 years' membership. The board intimated that it could not comply with tho request to spnd either an Australian or a Sheffield Shield team to New Zealand.
