REPRESENTATIVE FIXTURES AUCKLAND TO PLAY SOUTH CONTEST AGAINST TARANAKI ? A particularly fine programme will be offered patrons at Blandford Park to-morrow, when two . representative Soccer matches will be decided. Teams representing Auckland will meet South Auckland and Taranaki respectively. The main attraction will be the meeting of the Auckland A representative team and South Auckland. The latter team is said to be stroDg, and it will be interesting to see how it plays against the English trophy holders. Under good conditions, a. fast and at-, tractive game should be witnessed. Prior to the main contest an Auckland, senior representative team, composed of players who have represented the Auckland secondary Schools, will, meet Taranaki. the. frame starting at 1/30 p.m. A strong local eleven has been chosen to oppose the .visitors, a number of young and promisina players having been ei\en the chanee to gain representative experience. It is anticipated that the game wdi AuGkland selector with a splendid opportunity of viewing talent for future representative teams.
