MEAT FOR BRITAIN
INDICATION OF ORIGIN COMPULSORY MARKING [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Thursday A notice in the Gazette issued tonight announces that on and after January 7, 1935, all meat imported into the United Kingdom must be branded or marked with an indication of origin. Meat from New Zealand must bear the words " New Zealand."
