FINE MARKSMANSHIP
POSSIBLE AT FOUR RANGES fBV TKT.KORAPIT —PRESS ASSOCIATION] BLENITSTM. Wednesday Extraordinary shooting, which is believed to constitute a world's record, was achieved yesterday by W. N. Musefield, the well-known Marlborough rifleman, when practising with W. H. West at Blenheim butts. Shooting at 300 yds., 500.vd5., 600 yds. and 900 yds. ranges, seven shots at each, Masefield scored a "bull" with each of his 28 shots, thus achieving four successive "possibles" at the varying ranges. West dropped only one point at each range, so that between them the marks•men fired 56 shots and registered 52 "bulls." Masefield leaves on Tuesday to take part in a series of rifle meetings at Sydney and Melbourne, including the Centenary shoot.
