NEWCASTLE STRIKE
DECISION TO TERMINATE MEN DEFINE ATTITUDE SYDNEY, Sept. 19 A mass meeting of the employees of Lysaght's galvanised iron works, Newcastle, decided by a two to one majority to resume work on Monday on the conditions which obtained before the stoppage. The understanding was that the;£e was. to be no victimisation and that work was to be continued pending a round table conference with the management to discuss the matters in dispute.
