AUCKLAND AMATEUR CLUB The Auckland Amateur Cycle Club will conduct a 10} miles junior handicap and a 14J miles senior time trial evejit at Te Atatu next Saturday, starting at 2.30 p.m. A sealed handicap will be run in conjunction ' with the senior race. The Manukau Amateur Cycling Club will hold its fifth annual championship road race over the round the harbour course on Saturday. WAIHI CLUB'S SEASON [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] WAIHI, Wednesday The report presented at the annual meeting of the Waihi Cycle Club last nighfe stated that the past season had been a successful one from a racing point of view, and the balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £l9 18s. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. S. H. Brown; secretary, Mr. E. Furey, sen.; auditor, Mr. E. C. Westbury; committee, Messrs. G. J. Payne, A. H. Payne, H. G. Stamp. C. Kinssford, D. Kingsford, R. Stamp, W. Pollard, W. Spiers, R. V. Hollis, D. Fahey; handicapper, Mr. R. V. Hollis. It was decided to open the coming season with road races for senior (eight miles) and junior (four miles) riders about the third week in October.
