SEVERAL FINE SPECIMENS Reoent additions to the exhibits at the Auckland War Memorial Museum include at number of particularly \ fine specimens, which were referred to in a report presented by the director, Mr. Gfll»eri Archey, at a meeting of the council held yesterday. > A- collection of Moriori adzes and a flaked blubber knife from the Chatham Islands were presented during the month, by Mr. J;'J. Roberton; a series of fishes,' shells and seaweeds from Rarotonga, by Mr. K, S. Graham; important Bets of mollusca from Tierra del FuegcL by Mr. T. Reynolds; Falkland. Islands' mollusca, by Mr. A. J. Bennett; a collection of tertiary mollusca from Te R4umoa, by Mr. A. L. Ffascr; kauri gum and fossil shells from Hiknrangi coal seams 450 ft. deep, by Mr. A. G. Lunn; and a large composite aeroplane photograph of the citadel of Lo Queanoy showing the lines of attack of the 3rd New Zealand (llifle) Brigade, T ir? ca P t,ircd town on November , presented by Lien tenantColonel G, W.
