PEDESTRIAN'S DEATH
CORONER'S INQUEST OPENED
An inquest was opened yesterday by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M. coroner, into the death of Mr. Edmund Coppinger, aged 39, of 16 Belmont Terrace, Remuera, who received fatal injuries through being struck by a motor-car in Customs Street East on Tuesday evening. After evidence of identification had been taken, the inquest was adjourned sine die.
