The New Zealand selectors have eiven a number of new players an opportunity of playing in an inter-island match for the first time, only four, Griffiths, Leeson, Lambourne and McKenzie, having toured Australia recently with the All Blacks. This infusion of new blood will be welcomed in view of the tour to Great Britain next season.
