CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR
UNION'S ANNUAL RALLY The annual consecration ra'ly in connection with the 42nd annual convention of the Auckland Christian Endeavour Union was held in the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle last night. The retiring president, Mr. R. Gebbie, presided over a largo attendance. Prior to the rally, there was a procession of witness, numbering about 200 and headed by the Salvation Army Band, which marched from Quay Street to the Tabernacle. An address was given by Mr. A. Sutherland, the incoming president. A presentation was made to Miss W. Chamberlain in recognition of her services as secretary to the union for seven years. The following officers were inducted: —President, Mr. A! Sutherland; president designate, Mr. H. J. Maiden; vice-presidents, the Revs. F. J. Parker, E. Smith, A. Murray Gow and H. G. Goring. ,
