CRICKET TOUR

AUSTBALIANS' LAST GAME SCOTTISH TEAM DEFEATED CAREFREE, HAPPY DAY • VILLAGE GREEN STANDARD By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, Sept. 15 The Australian cricketers won the final game of their tour, when they defeated North of Scotland, at Forres, by an innings and 20 runs. Seventy minutes sufficed to dismiss North of Scotland for the lowest soore against the Australians on this tour.

The batsmen were extremely nervous, in spite of the fact that none of the bowlers was trying very hard. The whole match was quite absurd, frOIQ a cricket point of view. The Australians opened with the "tail" first. After O'Reilly had hit four sixes, Kemp dismissed McCabe and Bradman with successive balls. The innings was carefree and lasted only 85 minutes.

When Scotland batted a second time McCabe kept wickets instead of Barnett, who opened the bowling, but the Scotsmen fared little better. It wag a happy day of village green standard, and the umpires wore " plus fours." The scores were:—
