Pilcher. of Invewargill. defeated Mrs. W. A. Scott, of Timaru. 6 and 5. Soring (Manawatu) won Uje Ekstedt Handicap Cup, beating Mrs. Broderick (Wanganui), 2 up. The Manawatu handicap match wu won by Miss K. C. Cruickshank (Mftjteiv ton), who defeated Mrs. D. O. Friday The semi-finals and finals of the ladies' open golf tournament were played on the Mokorua Club's links to-day in beautiful weather. Semi-final: A. section—Mrs. tlnnes beat Mrs. Sloane. Mrs. Newman beat Mis* Reid. B section—Miss Brown (Te Puke) beat Miss Hill. Mrs. Rangi beat Mrs. Reardon. Finals: A section—Mrs. Innes beat Mrs. Newman at the 20th. B section—Miss Brown beat Mrs. Rangi.
