Mr. John Stringfellow, of Moroa, Grey town, has been appointed judge of Corriedale sheep at the Melbourne Centenary Show. He will sail for Australia on October 11. Mr. W. R. T. Leighton, chairman of the Waitemata Electric-Power Board, and Mr. N. M. Speer, secretary to the Auckland Electric-Power Board, returned by train yesterday morning from Wellington after attending a conference of power boards. The chairman of the Auckland board, Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, and Mr. R. G. Clark,. a member, are expected to arrive by this moniing's express.
