ASSOCIATION BANQUET
if MOTHER AND DAUGHTER A most enjoyable function was held last night by tile Shamrock Senior Girls' Club of the Y.W.C.A. in the form of a "mother and daughter " banquet. About 60 guests were present. The tables had been decorated with daffodils, and bouquets for special guests added ,a note of spring colour. Proceeding the banquet a demonstration of the club's gymnastic programme j was given under the direction of their instructor, Miss Bebe Cook, in the gymnasium, and a play was presented in the assembly hall by members who had been coached by Miss Dorcen Saunders. - , During the banquet suitable toasts . were proposed and responded to by Miss Kyra Shepherd (club president and toast mistress), Misses May Tebbett, ■Ruby MeCready, Elma Hall and' Hilda Gates.
