LAST TRIBUTE
DISTINGUISHED SCIENTIST STATE FUNERAL IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, August 30 A State funeral was accorded to the late Sir Edgeworth David to-day. A service was held in St. Andrew's Cathedra!, where the body had been lying in state. The cortege, including military units and university representatives in full academic dress, then proceeded to a crematorium. Mr. F. H. Stewart, Minister of Commerce, represented the Federal Government, Mr. 13. S. Stevens, Premier, and other Ministers represented the New South Wales Government, and representatives of the Governor-General and the Stato Govornor also attended.
