VICTORIA LEAGUE
A party was given to the patients at the Knox Home by the Victoria League Ever Ready Committee. Books and magazines were distributed and an excellent concert was given.' Songs were sung by Mrs. Hobday, Mrs. Price and Miss Renner; sketches were given by Mrs. N. Cruickshank, Miss Cr*ickshank, Mrs. Howie and Miss Kathleen Teape, and pianoforte solos by Miss Tilly Rountree, Community singing of well known songs added a zest to the proceedings. Miss Rountree acted as accompanist. Mr. R. Ward thanked the committee for the entertainment and Miss Mowbray responded. A delicious afternoon tea was dispensed by the committee. Among those present wero Miss Mowbray (president of the Victoria League), Mesdames Rickerby, Maguire, C'leal, R. Cruickshank, Stretton, Renner, H. Gulliver, Fitchett, Kohn, Cerutty, Misses Graham, Teape.
