HOLIDAYS IN SUNSHINE
PICNICS AT THE SEASIDE FORTUNATE SCHOOL CHILDREN School children on holiday have revelled in the brilliantly fine weather of the past several days and they will be loth to return to their desks next week. The sunny days have encouraged j mothers to take their children picnicking, and the city and North Shore beaches, as well as the many parks, have proved popular. - The more easily accessible beaches, such as Mission Bay, have attracted large numbers, considering that the air has not yet lost the chill of winter. Most of the children have been conten to play on the sands, although a feff ,; of the more hardy spirits have _bc^ n tempted to go swimming. One of the most popular reserves for picnickers been the One Tree Hill domain, where children are free to romp and pw amid delightful surroundings. r.
