printed p orm . . may \mperil the elf are.. °fy our Y^ependents. No act in life calls for more care than the making of a Will. It is the first document sought after death and the only one to receive judicial recognition in the disposition of one's assets. Yet many people casually purchase a printed Will Form and proceed to fill in the blanks with little thought of the consequences. Only recently an originating summons was issued for the interpretation of a "HomeMade " Will executed on printed form, -which stated " I give, devise and bequeath all my property •to my wife to be held in trust by her for the benefit of our children. The said —to have control of the Estate during her lifetime". In summing up, the learned Judge stated, inter alia, "The testator has used words which show that the whole beneficial interest was given to the children .. .1 think that the wife's remedy lies under the Family Protection Act". Much sorrow and expense can be avoided if a Will is drawn in strict accordance with the Law. Consult your solicitor now or make an appointment for a confidential discussion with the Manager.
