INCREASE IN RECEIPTS An increase is registered in the estimated traffic receipts of Cable and Wireless, Limited, formerly known as Imperial and International Communications, Limited, for July, as compared with tho corresponding period last year. Tho index figuro is 68.9, against 67.5 for July, 1933. The figure for June was 70.1. The working day average ol comparative receipts, taking 100 as tho index figuro for 1929, for tour years up to July, is as follows:
The index figures represent the estimated monthly receipts from traffic as related to the comparable traffic in 1929. Tho lowest index figure since 1929 was 61.8 in August, 1931.
