BOUT AT TOWN HALL
TAYLOR TO MEET DAL COSTA Frank Taylor, the clever Auckland ban-tam-weight, and Dal Costa, the brilliant New South Wales champion, will meet at, the Town Hall to-night in what is expected to be tho greatest boxing contest seen in Auckland for years. Both men have finished their training in excellent condition and both arc confident of success, either on points or by a knock-out. Tnylor, who. claims the New Zealand title, has re\ealed sparkling form in the gymnasium nnd his tremendous punching power makes him dangerous opponent even for such a wonderful performer ns Costa, who m his -1 winning bouts hns taken 11 decisions by the knock-out. Seldom, if ever, have two such hard punching, clever bnntnms been opposed, nnd the general opinion is that it will be a great contest, with tho chance that either Tnylor or Costa, which is a matter of opinion, will take tho decision on a knock-out. Whichever way tho decision goes the contest should bn full of tlffills from start to finish. Amateur preliminaries have been arranged to ensure a high standard.
