WAIKATO LOAN POLL
WATER FOR FAIRFIELD APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday A poll of ratepayers in the Fairfield district, a suburb of Hamilton, was held yesterday in connection with a proposal to raise £ISOO with which to reticulate the area with the town water supply. Of the 70 ratepayers affected, 57 voted, and of this number 53 were in favour of the proposal and four were opposed to it.
