ATTACKED BY BOAR
MAN CROSSING PADDOCK SEVERE INJURIES RECEIVED [by telegraph-*-own correspondent] HAMILTON, "Wednesday Attacked by a boar, a farm hand, Mr. Douglas Sharp, aged 34, employed by Mr. S. McGowan, of Putaruru, re* ceived severe lacerations to the left thigh to-day. Mr. Sharp was passing through 4 paddock on his employer's property when the boar attacked him. Dr. S. L. Haslett, of Putaruru, was called, and the wounds were found to be very deep and extensive, necessitating tha insertion of 25 stitches. The injured man was admitted to th« Waikato Hospital. His condition wai reported this evening to be not serious.
