BLASTING ACCIDENT
MAN'S SEVERE INJURIES [by TELEGRAPH —PIIESS association] DUNEDIN, Wednesday A married man, Mr. Noble Callaghan, aged 30, employed on the Deep Creek water-supply scheme, was struck by a quantity of rock ,while engaged in blasting operations this morning. Ho suffered a fracture of the pelvis, a compound fracture of the leg and head injuries, and was taken to the Dupedin Hospital.
