AUGMENTING COACH FUNff SEASON'S TROPHY WINNERS The coach committee, reported to a meeting: of the management committee of tho Auckland Cricket Association last evening having set up a committee to organise & sports carnival as a means of raising fund* toward the expense of engaging the English professional coach during the coming season. The coach committee recommended nn increase of registration fees from Is 6d to 2s 6d and from 2s £>d to 3s 6d for players of under and over 18 years respectively. It was decided to pass the recommendation on to the incoming management committee for favourable support. The question of the North Shore senior team playing hojne and home matches -was introduced and was referred to the club's delegate to place before his committee and report to the next meeting. Trophies for performances during the past season -were awarded as follows:—First grade batting, J. E.' Mills, average 91.60; first grade bowling, J. A. Cowie, average 9.68; second grade batting, C. Hayward, average 37.85; junior bowling, J. Appleyard, average 4.09; Riddolls Memorial Cup for most improved senior player, "W. M. Wallace; club championship, Parnell, 455 points; The date of the annual general meeting was fixed for September 27. ,
