MATCHES FOR JUNIOR TEAMS PAEROA AND PUKEKOHE VISITS The junior management board of the Auckland Rugby TJnion received at its weekly meeting last evening correspondence from Thames Valley Union in reference to the junior representatives' visit to Paeroa on September ]. The letter stated that all arrangements had been made for the team's entertainment. It was decided to send an intermediate representative team to Pukekohe 011 Saturday next to meet the South Auckland representatives. The flying squadron visited two grounds on Saturday last and found one Marist fifth grade player overweight, and one Eastern Suburbs third grade player too heavy. These two clubs are to be notified to have these respective players weighed again before playing next Saturday. It was also resolved to write to the Eden Club asking , that a certain fifth grade player be asked to weigh in at the Rugby Union office.

j. Lawrie, Otahuhu, applied for a. transfer to Eastern Suburbs, and this was granted, subject to the production of his clearance.

REPRESENTATIVE PRACTICE The members of the Auckland team which played North Auckland last Saturday must attend training this evening at 7.30 at the Training College grounds.
