RATES FOR YEAR STRUCK Kates for the year of Is s}d in the pound on the unimproved value were struck at a meeting of the New Lynn Borough Council on Monday night. This represents a reduction of -Id on last year's rate. A discount of 5 per cent will be allowed for payment within 30 days. A letter was received from the Henderson and Glen Eden Town Boards intimating willingness to attend a conference in connection with the proposed compulsory registration of bicxfles.
