HEAVY RAINFALL
TAURANGA'S EXPERIENCE [by telegraph OWN correspondent] TAURANGA, Tuesday The heaviest rain this year fell at Tauranga for two hours this morning and cleared at 11.45. The low-lying areas were flooded for a short time, but the water got awav quickly, and no damage was reported. The weather was very warm during the afternoon and the sun came out strongly for about two hours.
