Hester (Glen Cove) defeated Miss Muriel Thomas (England), 6—2, 6 —4;' Miss Kathleen Stammers (England), defeated Miss Helen Pederson (Connecticutt), 6 —3, 7 —5; Miss Elizabeth Kyan defeated Miss Eunice Deaa (Texas), 6 —2, 6 —2.
