BIG LOSS PENDING BREWING FIRM'S DECISION REMOVAL TO LONDON GOVERNMENT WORRIED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received August 14, 5.45 p.m.) LONDON, August 13 The Daily Mail states that the Government of the Irish Free State is worried because of the decision of the Guinness Brewing Company to establish a brewery in London. It is understood the decision was made long ago in view of the uncertainties of the Irish political situation. In the city business men state that as a considerable portion of the exports from Ireland consists of Guinness' brews the establishment of a brewery in Britain will result in a depreciation of Irish currency. The Dublin correspondent of the Mail says the transfer will save the Guinness Company £160,000 a year in taxation. A member of the former Cosgrave Government said the country relied on the revenue from the Guinness brewery to balance the Budget. NO NEWSPAPERS POSITION IN DUBLIN (Received August 14, 5.45 p.m.) DUBLIN, August 13 Dublin is still without newspapers. The Typographical Society refuses to undertake never to strike again.
