SOUTH AFRICAN UNITY
SUPPORT FOR FUSION GENERAL HERTZOG'S TRIUMPH CAPETOWN, August 1 Tho Prime Minister, General Hertzog, scored a personal triumph to-day at the Orange Free State Nationalist Congress, which recorded an overwhelming vote for the Fusion. The anti-fusion section supporting Dr. Malan left the congress after their defeat. General Hertzog, in winding up the congress to-night, declared that a cancer had now been removed from the body politic, and lie could now procoed with the work of building up the South African nation. No party in South Africa could build upon a foundation of hate toward their fellow-citizens simply because the latter spoke English.
