"THE OLD BUS"
KINGSFORD SMITH PICTURE Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's film " The Old Bus," produced for distribution by Universal Pictures under the direction of Mr. J. Percival, jnr., shows the progress of aviation in Australia and New Zealand * from 1894, when Lawrence Hargrave flew at Stanwell Park, New South Wales, to the most luxurious British Imperial Airways passenger liner. The film shows all the great flights of the Southern Cross, including the first England-Australia experimental mail, and the first transTasnian flight to New Zealand. The production, which was produced under the personal supervision of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, will also show tho Centenary Air Race and the nir-mail routes from England to Australia.
