WHANGAREI CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Friday The Whangarei Miniature Rifle" Club held a shoot last night for the Fisher Shield. The evening's trophy was won by K. Clark with a score of 98. 3—lol. Other good scores were: —S. C. Wells. 99. scr—99; J. Courtney, 95. 4-—9O ; J. H Ashton, 98, scr—9B; A. D. Jack, Ofi. 2—98; F. White, 96. 2—98; T. Hill. 95. 3—98; S. C. Witherp, 97, scr—97; J. Norris. 97. scr—97; W. Norris. 97. scr--97; E. A. Higgins, 95. 2—97; R. Jennings. 94, 3—97; F. Tebbutt. 93. 4—97; G. Bingon. 93. 4—97. The A grade Buckley Rooster was won by T. Hill, 98. who defeated the holder, G. Bingon. 96. The B grade Buckley Rooster was retainecl by Miss E. Langmuir.
