THE FARMER'S "CUT"
Sir, —Everyone, seamen, Power Board men, municipal employees, trade workers, are all getting the "cut"— ridiculous and misleading word —restored. Everyone, except the man who keeps all of thom, i.e., the "cocky." He has had an annual "cut" year by year for tho last five yearn, until it now amounts to 50 per cent and will probably be 60 per cent before the season is over. When and how are we—townspeople who live upon him—going to restore at least a portion of his "cut"? Can we expect any relief to our present worries, unemployment, etc., until we have restored at least a portion of his 50 per cent "cut." Alpha.
