MILK VENDOR TO PAY COSTS Tho first prosecution in Auckland for the failure of a vendor to make returns to the Milk Cbuncil of the quantity of milk sold was heard m the Police Court yesterday before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. For this offence Millicent Jane Manley (Mr. Skelton) was convicted and ordered to pay costs, 10s. Mr. Drummond, who appeared for the Milk Council, said the object of the prosecution was to impress upon vendors thoir responsibilities.
