PICTURE TRANSMITTED AUSTRALIA TO ' LONDON MELBOURNE, July 24 In an address to the Constitutional Club, Mr. E. T. Fisk, general manager of Amalgamated Wireless, announced that a front page picture which appeared in the Evening Standard in London on Saturday, was transmitted from Australia in 25 minutes by mcsans of beam wireless.' He added that television, however, would not b& practicable for five or 10 years.
