NEW GUINEA FLIGHT
ULM REACHES BRISBANE / MAIL AND PASSENGERS (Received July 24, 11.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 24 Mr. C. T. P. Ulm, in his monoplane Faith in Australia to-day completed the first stage of his flight to New Guihea, from Melbourne to Brisbane, via S3"clney. He is taking 26,000 letters from "all the States and 3000 from New Zealand. There are three passengers in the machine, namely Mr. J. R. Halligan, officer in charge of the Territories Branch, Canberra, who is paying an official visit to New Guinea, Mr. Barry Young, cinema photographer, and Mr. It. H. Julius.
